Meccaniche Veloci Corsa Corta

SOLD. SOLD. Pre owned / used Meccaniche Veloci Corsa Corta hand winding. This Meccaniche Veloci watch has a 48mm (51mm including crown) across, 12mm thick and 53mm lug to lug black stainless steel case which houses a Swiss Unitas 6498 hand winding movement, visible through a glass exhibition window. The caseback is secured with 4 screws and is individually numbered. The black dial, which is protected by an anti-reflective sapphire glass lens, has a minute track around the perimeter. There is a large Arabic numeral at 12 o'clock and square markers at hour intervals. There is a skeletonised area between 2 and 3 o'clock, which shows the movement. The watch has black minute and hour hands with red inserts and there is small second subdial at 6 o'clock. The large knurled crown is positioned at 3 o'clock, which gives the watch 100 metres water resistance. This Corsa Corta watch is fitted with a 22mm wide Italian leather suede strap with red stitching, and has a black Meccaniche Veloci buckle. This Corsa Corta hand winding is in excellent condition, the case is mint and the sapphire glass lens is perfect. The original leather strap shows a little wear but is in great order. The watch functions perfectly, keeping excellent time. This watch comes on it's own without boxes or papers.
