Rotary Elite Hinged Automatic, Silver Dial, Leather Strap

SOLD. Pre owned / used Rotary Elite automatic hinged / reversible watch. This Rotary Elite has a reverso style case which is hinged and swivels to allow either the watch dial or the back case to be on show. This was originally a feature for polo players so their watch would not be damaged during a match. This Rotary Elite automatic has a 26mm (28mm with crown) across, 41mm lug to lug and 11mm deep, highly polished stainless steel case. The case houses a Swiss ETA 2824-2 25 jewel automatic movement, which is visible through a glass exhibition window. The silver dial, which is protected by a sapphire glass lens, has a guilloche pattern on the inside of the face and has black Arabic numerals at hour intervals. The hands are black and there is a date window above 6 o'clock. The two shoulder buttons push in to allow the case to hinge, and the Rotary signed push / pull crown is located at 3 o'clock. This Rotary Elite watch comes fitted with the original Rotary brown croco pattern leather strap with stainless steel clasp, and is water resistant to 30 metres. This watch is in fantastic condition, as can be seen in the images. There are no marks of any note on the case and the sapphire glass lens is perfect. The leather strap is slightly worn and the clasp shows minimal wear. This Rotary Elite comes with original Rotary inner and outer boxes.
