This Worldwide GMT was originally bought in 2009 and commemorates the International Meridian Conference convened in Washington DC in October 1884. The watch has a 316L stainless steel case, which is 42mm across (not including crowns), 12mm deep and 52mm lug to lug and is water resistant to 50 metres. The case houses a TCM modified 25 jewel Swiss ETA 2824-2 automatic movement, which has Novodiac shock protection and Cotes de Geneve decoration. A convex mineral glass lens protects the silver dial, which has silver Arabic numerals, silver luminous hour and minute hands and a silver second hand. There is a date window at 3 0'clock and the dial has an internal 24 hour bezel and a outer dial which has the important cities of the world. The main push pull crown is located at 3 o'clock and the second crown positioned at 9 o'clock allows the wearer to calculate the hours of major cities around the world by rotating the inner bezel, calculated on the basis of their current time slot. The Worldwide GMT comes fitted with an aftermarket brown leather strap with Terra Cielo Mare stainless steel buckle. This Terra Cielo Mare watch is in excellent condition, there are a few small marks to the mineral glass lens which are only visible under a loupe. The case is in excellent order and the strap is brand new with the original pin buckle. The original inner and outer boxes and warranty card are included.
