Xemex XE 5000 "Day Date", Black Dial, Rubber Strap

SOLD. SOLD Pre owned / used Xemex XE 5000 "Day Date" automatic. The XE-5000 minutes has a 40mm brushed and polished stainless steel case which is 11mm deep and 47mm lug to lug. The case has an exhibition back to reveal the Xemex modified Swiss ETA 2836-2 automatic movement, which has a drilled rotor for increased effieciency. As with all Xemex watches, the lugs are hinged to allow a perfect fit for any wrist. The dial, which is protected by a curved sapphire glass lens, has luminous hands and markers, with the classic red Xemex second hand and a big day/date window at 3 o'clock. The push / pull crown at 3 o'clock is sunk into the case. The XE-5000 is water resistant to 50 metres and comes fitted with the original Xemex rubber strap with butterfly buckle. This Xemex XE 5000 is in great condition and runs perfectly keeping excellent time with a strong power reserve. The case has one or two very light marks but is in great condition. The sapphire glass lens is perfect. The Xemex rubber strap has been adjusted and will fit a 7 inch (17 1/2 cms) wrist and the clasp is in near mint condition and works perfectly. The watch comes with a non Xemex travel case, Xemex brochure, international guarantee certificate and hangtag.
